What You Will Build

A system that enriches generated content with knowledge from documents on an end user's own machine - folders the user explicitly grants - without consuming resources proportional to the size of the disk. It is written to be usable outside 1nicorn.

The core principle, stated once: the expensive stages (embedding, model calls) must never run over the whole disk. A cheap triage gate reads almost nothing, decides what is worth indexing, and defers everything else to on-demand reading. Cost then scales with the content a human authored, not with the size of the drive.
